BERRA IN THE DUGOUT DURING 1973 WORLD SERIES
Date: October 13–21, 1973
Manager Yogi Berra sat in contemplation during the 1973 World Series. Berra guided the Mets to the Fall Classic against the odds, a team whose .509 winning percentage was the lowest in MLB history for a pennant winner. The Mets would keep up the fight by forcing seven games against the eventual Series champion Oakland Athletics.
