A MINI MOOKIE
Date: 2001
Fifteen thousand lucky kids walked away from Shea Stadium with a Mookie Wilson bobblehead in 2001. Wilson was first base coach at the time, but he was also well-known as the Mets player who hit a tenth-inning grounder past Bill Buckner in Game 6 of the 1986 World Series, which forced a Game 7 against the Boston Red Sox. Wilson and the Mets won the Series for the second championship in franchise history.
