THE HALL CALLS
Date: January 20, 2026
In his fourth year of eligibility Carlos Beltran was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Over a 20-year career, Beltran was one of five players in AL/NL history to have 500 doubles, 400 home runs and 300 stolen bases. Beltran’s 1.021 OPS was also the best in MLB playoff history for players with at least 200 career postseason at bats. Said Francisco Lindor, “He paved the way for future generations of Puerto Rican baseball players and set them on a path to success. For that, he truly deserves this moment.”
